The Veneto region is home to cities such as Venice and Verona, known for its romantic settings and landscapes, as well as for producing some of the most famous wines of Italy. Venice, the city of romance, needs no introductions. Verona is a beloved destination in northern Italy given its artistic heritage as well as the opera culture. In fact, shows still take place today in the Verona Arena, one of the best preserved ancient Roman amphitheaters. The city is of course known as the setting for William Shakespeare's play, Romeo and Juliet. Discover the nearby Valpolicella region, with its beautifully undulating hills with perfectly aligned rows of vines, internationally renowned for the production of its cherished Amarone wine.

While you are here

In Venice, head to the canals for a one-of-a-kind gondola tour through the city. One evening you will discover the local “Bacari” bars together with a local guide, for a traditional cicchetto experience, enjoying an aperitivo in true Venetian style! While in Verona, a local guide will take you on an incredible walking tour through the breathtaking squares, alleys, and monuments that make up this romantic city, and of course you will visit Juliet’s balcony and the famous Arena di Verona. A full day guided tour through the Valpolicella region will give you a chance to learn all about Amarone wine, and more importantly to taste it, while visiting two different wineries.
